Common Symptoms & Fault Codes

This module is notorious for "locking" due to voltage drops or minor bumps. If your BMW shows these signs, it needs an internal reset:

• DTC 9402: "Rollover-protection controller: internal fault" (The most common code).
• DTC 93D7: "Internal ECU Error" (Indicates a processor/checksum lock).
