Certain versions of the Land Rover 10AS alarm module were fitted without central locking capability. These basic units (commonly part numbers AMR6431, AMR4896, YWC106270, YWC500660, and YWC106279) can be upgraded by installing the missing components and enabling the factory software features.

Will this work with my Defender?
If your Defender has a green 10AS module (pre-2012 models), this upgrade is compatible. The black ALM module fitted from 2012 onwards cannot be upgraded using this service.
Do I need new key fobs?
If your vehicle didn't originally come with remote key fobs, you'll need to purchase Land Rover 2-button fobs separately. We can program up to 4 fobs as part of the upgrade service.
Will my immobiliser still work?
